whats super mario?!

Earlier today my bro and I were playing Super Mario Bros 3 on wii and my dad was watching and asked what do you have to do in the game and what was the point? Lol so my mom explained to him. She said "You play this guy named Mario and you have to go into castles and kill monsters without getting touched or else you die. And when you eat mushrooms you grow bigger." I thought that was pretty funny.

another perler bead project

The first monster you see in bubble bobble! It's uneven.. I ironed one side too much ;[ so I guess I'll have to re-iron the other side to even it out.. I really need a bigger pegboard. Having to iron two parts together is really making the beads come out unevenly.

Boo!

I made this little guy today~ I've seen pics of people that made other nintendo characters with perler beads and I thought it was really cool so I thought I'd try it out myself. I want to make so many more chars! I hope I don't run out of black.. it's prolly going to be the most used color and white also.

The pegboard I was using was too small :( So I had to use 2 and iron one out and then stick it onto the 2nd pegboard. Some of the beads are uneven because of that. I might've ironed the first half too much and it melted too much :( Trial & Error.

Next one I'm going to do will be Zero2~



No drawings today, still working on that Link pic. It's all colored now, just need to add the shading, details and background.

I'm still working on that link pic.. almost ready to start coloring now.

There's still a few things bothering me about it and I spent a lot of time today trying to fix em. It's mostly just the eyes/mouth that's bothering me =\ I changed the eyes but I didn't like the new ones I made so I kept the original. Might change em again. And I changed the face shape a little bit and redid the nose. I like the face and nose now.. just the eyes and mouth that I'm still unsure about.

Zero2 and Link wip

I've been listening to the battle theme for this Kirby 64 boss lately so I decided to draw him~ I plan to do another sketch/drawing of him. More detailed (well as detailed as I can get with a round thing lol) and a better background. And once again it got saved slightly darker than it actually was. I unno why the Zero Suit Samus pic came out fine. Well I'm going to have to color lighter than I normally do.. :(



And here's the link sketch I'm doing. It's going to be colored with a background aswell. It didn't start out as link actually. I was just doodling and then I gave him elven ears so I figured why not?

Kid Icarus

Something I've been working on lately.. I'm really not happy with how I made Pit's face look lol ;-; I really wanna finish it though cause I like how I made his wing look. I also started a yoshi sketch, and a princess toadstool and a link sketch.

I wanna try drawing more dynamic sketches but bleh.. I just seem to draw them in a boring fashion. =\ sighhh

Meh it got darker after I saved it as a png :( while working on it in photoshop it was lighter :( oh well.. I know he has dots for eyes but I wanted to try it in my style first :3

crazy for brawl. We recently got a wii so I'm even more excited for smash bros brawl. I gave up on finding wii's till like next year. But we got one! And brawl release date was pushed back again. Ohwell. I drew this today (like 15-20 min spent on it :D) and I'm working on a Lucas pic now. I'm gonna draw a sketch of each char from brawl till it comes out!
